Baneki Privacy Computing develops and provides to customers all over the world network-based tools that enable dramatically enhanced privacy and security for personal communications. We understand that the freedom to express one's beliefs, ideas, opinions, and experiences without fear of censorship or persecution by majorities or hegemonic institutional agents is an absolute foundation of any free, diverse, vibrant, respectful human social system. We also see that the forces of censorship, control, and intimidation continue to see new ways to clamp down on free expression. We help tip the scales.

Our company itself is composed of a diverse, distributed team of talented people that bring their personal focus and integrity to their work with Baneki, on behalf of all our customers. For us, the value of our work is only to be measured by the tangible impact it has on the world at large. Our customers top the list of priorities, because they are the agents of change who can use our tools to make good things happen out there. We exist to enable them to continue doing that, free of fear.

Both as a company and as individuals, we support a broad cross-section of nonprofit and community-focused efforts, from free web hosting for politically unpopular websites to more direct financial contributions to groups such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, this work isn't just window-dressing to make us look good – it's a central part of who we are. We're always looking for new ways to provide catalytic support to innovative people and groups who themselves are stretching the boundaries of creative expression and personal integrity.

We provide our services to our customers both through our own, branded efforts and via third-party licensing/private label relationships with outside companies. Additionally, we have several major projects in works internally at this point in time, but not yet publicly announced.
